Did you enjoy the designs during the It's A Garden Party Rowalong?
Here are the designs I chose to make from this year's event for today's Show 'n Tell:
My own of course - Poppy Dance Party. Read all about it here.
Kathleen McMusing - Picnic Under the Quilt Block
Words & Stitches - Picket Fence
Ms P Designs - Pinwheel Posey Parade -- think Forget-me-knots
Stitchin' at Home - Garden Blooms
Did you make any of the designs? Put something together? Tell us where to see it in the comments! Thanks for following along!
Hope you'll want to see more of my designs and choose to follow-along via email newsletter, instagram, Facebook or as a blog follower (see sidebar). I've even decided to start adding content to my YouTube channel. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Words & Stitches - Picket Fence
Heleen Pinkster's Home-Tweet-Home (one component from it)
Clever Chameleon - Garden Bath Joy (most of it)
Made by Marney - Enjoy Today - Think Crocus
I then got out my bricks (Humpty Dumpty's Wall) from last year's Rowalong
--both a horizontal set and a vertical set that my mom made 'testing' the pattern for me

--and resurrected my Dogwood Branch from 2015!
Adding some extra stems, sky, tree trunk and grass filled in a few bits to organize all the elements into a single scene. Then added a black frame to finish it off. Fun! Right?
This is now my Spring Garden Party

* they used my row!!
What a fantastic compilation of lovely rows!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhat a beautiful wall hanging. I think the arrangement is great and I am amazed at your ability to create such a fantastic overall view from the many individual parts. I don't dare to do something like that. It is easier to place the different rows one below the other, but this requires more!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoy your skills! Stay tuned.

Electric Quilt - Custom Quilt Setting helped a lot! Thanks.
DeleteWow, wonderful! I love how you've managed to make a coherent picture out of the blocks, even with some sense of perspective! Very honoured to have my block in the mix, thank you. Especially love the snail right in the front on the wall, looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteLoved how the birdbath could become a central focus in the garden. Thanks for this design and your kind comments.
DeleteWhat a fun and pretty quilt. I especially like the way you incorporated the two garden walls with the snail.
ReplyDeleteThanks! After or during quilting the snail might get some eyes ;-)

ReplyDeleteI have truly enjoyed this year's rowalong! I haven't had a chance to sew one of these inspirations I've seen but I am loving this show and tell event to get ideas for putting different puzzle pieces together! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome put together! I love that you added the brick walls your mother tested for you last year. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful when you have them all put together. I love pansies.
