Spinning Frames - fussy cut squares with special frames

this pattern features Northcott's Whiskers & Wine collection
New Projects Completed
Using up some leftover HSTs from an old project ....made into a potholder.
Special quilt for my Uncle Gordon -- he loves classic cars. Found this fabric and added some fabrics that would fit for a classic guy to make this Disappearing 9 patch design. Backed with minky for a cozy feel.
A special request for some white mitten like gloves.
Didn't take a pic of them all, but ultimately made 3 pair. Key lesson--cotton fabric doesn't make for a good glove ...need something stretchy and definitely need something stretchy at the wrist. Ultimately I had to cut off most of the lower part in order to get this to work.
Inspired by Art
--looking at photos from a living space, I was inspired by the artwork on the wall and the colors used in the furniture and decor in the room. Most of these are squares ....just one rectangle to keep the continuous wording on the fabric. A fun colorwash quilt, well received. Most of these fabrics are available in my shop.
