April Showers - IBA Challenge

Our challenge this month is April Showers ....I'm sure hoping that they bring May Flowers!

Using my Accuquilt die cutter and beautiful #IslandBatik fabrics, I cut these cute umbrellas. Now what to do with them????

So, here is my challenge to you, the reader ....if you were to receive these cut shapes as a gift (unattached to anything) what would you want to do with them? The most appealing, to me, answer will receive them. This will be open for suggestion through April 30.

  1. If I received just the shapes I would attempt to make a sunbonnet Sue and sunbonnet sam holding the umbrellas in a field of flowers

  3. cute umbrellas, count me out of the giveaway but I thought the sunbonnet idea was cute! I think they are too big for a pincushion, could they be used as pockets if they are upside down or a little girl dress maybe?

  6. I think I would make a wall hanging or table runner that has a cat and a dog holding the umbrellas, sitting in a small garden with rain coming down. I think that would be a cute take on raining cats and dogs. Rina

  7. My daughter lives in an apartment in Minnesota. She has been wishing she could come up with something to hang on the outside door of her apartment. This would be the perfect thing for Spring! Very pretty!

  11. A good friend of mine is struggling through college, and I'd make something for her table, something to encourage her to keep going for the next 18 months and make it to the end. =) dezertsuz at gmail
