Spring Clean Your Studio Blog Hop 2022

Welcome to your next stop on the Spring Clean Your Studio Blog Hop 2022

This was just the event I needed to get me motivated about cleaning up my studio!

Thanks to Cheryl @ muppin.com for hosting this Blog Hop.

So here is my BEFORE from the entrance and then from other corners around the room. I've got a big (old) project hanging on one design wall that is from Alaska. I got it out and thought well, it has been 15 years since this Alaska Shop Hop happened and I collected these blocks. Last year I got it out and finished up the main blocks, now I need to add a few fillers to finish it up.

On the right hand side design wall I've got blocks from my day on the Seaside Adventure Blog Hop that happened last fall. The seagull is mine and I tested the light house. On the same day the 3rd blogger did the turtles and I just loved them, so had to make it up too. Now I'm not sure what I'm oging to do with these blocks, but they make me happy!

This cutting table is over whelmed for sure! The embroidery machine on the right is fairly new to me. My shop became a Certified Kimberbell Shop last year. When I got ready to host an event I panic'd and thought I really needed to have an embroidery machine to stitch out a few things so that I wasn't completely in the dark. I've had the Pumpkin Spice Event and the My Punny Valentine Event. Plenty of product in my shop if you're interested.

My closet has a great set of wire racks to help me stay organized!

The first moment I sat down to consider how I was going to tackle this situation I discovered a piece of fabric that I thought I was 'out of' and was going to have to substitute it in a project I am currently working on. I was so excited!

Cleaning up I also found several fabric scraps that can work into the Alaska project on the design wall.

I also found a template I had misplaced! Yeah!!

And a spool of thread I'd be trying to find.

Still looking for the remains of a kit with instructions and fabric to finish up the embellishments on a project.

AFTER

ok...so it is not perfect, but I did get a lot of 'fabric crumbs' off the floor and was able to organize many 'bits' into their proper places. Many I had to just toss in the trash as ...let's be honest...will I ever make a crumb quilt?

In case you missed some --here was the complete schedule. Just one more day!
